What’s travel basketball?
Travel Basketball, also known as AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) basketball, is a competitive level of youth basketball. Participating in travel basketball can provide players with valuable experiences, such as the opportunity to play against top competition, develop their skills through intense practices and games, and potentially earn college scholarships or opportunities to play at higher levels of basketball. However, travel basketball can also be demanding in terms of time, commitment, and financial investment, as players may be required to attend practices, games, and tournaments on weekends or holidays, and families may incur costs for travel, lodging, and registration fees.
